Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Paris Junior College

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented six JET grants, totaling $1,392,953.00 to six grant recipients, including Chapel Hill ISD (in partnership with Northeast Texas Community College), Hooks ISD (in partnership with Texarkana College), Maud ISD (in partnership with Texarkana College), Paris Junior College, Prairiland ISD (in partnership with Paris Junior College), and Simms ISD (in partnership with Texarkana College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 555 students in high demand occupations in Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians and Welding.
