Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Workforce Solutions North Central TX

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented 4 JET grants, totaling $1,249,515.00 to four grant recipients, including Farmersville ISD (in partnership with Collin County Community College) and Garner ISD (in partnership with Weatherford College), Ranger College, and Waxahachie ISD (in partnership with Navarro College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 1,517 students in high demand occupations in Architectural and Engineering Managers, Healthcare, and Welding.
