Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Navarro College

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented eight grants, totaling $2,569,626.00 to seven grant recipients, including Navarro College, Fairfield ISD (in partnership with Texas State Technical College), Groesbeck ISD (in partnership with Navarro College), Maypearl ISD (in partnership with Navarro College), Wortham ISD (in partnership with Navarro College), Rice ISD (in partnership with Navarro College) and Oakwood ISD (in partnership with Navarro College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 777 students in high demand occupations in Supervisor of Mechanics and Installation, Healthcare, Maintenance, and Welding.
