Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Workforce Solutions North Central Texas

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented four grants, totaling $1,016,633.00 to two grant recipients, including Venus ISD (in partnership with Hill College) and Weatherford ISD (in partnership with Weatherford College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 1,247 students in high demand occupations in Mechanical Engineer, Supervisor of Mechanics, Diesel Mechanic, and Food Service Managers.
