Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Texarkana College

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented six grants, totaling $1,432,148.00 to six grant recipients, including Texarkana College, Redwater ISD (in partnership with Texarkana College), Waskom ISD (in partnership with Kilgore College), Harts Bluff ISD (in partnership with Northeast Texas Community College), Winnsboro ISD (in partnership with Northeast Texas Community College), and Marshall ISD (in partnership with Texas State Technical College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 528 students in high demand occupations in Automotive Service Technician, Healthcare, and Welding.
