Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by South Texas College

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) presented nine grants, totaling $4,718,866.00 to four grant recipients, including South Texas College, La Joya ISD (in partnership with South Texas College), Vanguard Academy (in partnership with South Texas College), and Weslaco ISD (in partnership with South Texas College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 1,255 students in high demand occupations in healthcare, machinist, computer network specialist, automotive services, and welding.
