Regional JET Grant Presentation hosted by Laredo College

In July 2023, TWC presented six grants, totaling $2,424,305 to four grant recipients, including Laredo College, Zapata County ISD (in partnership with Laredo College), Laredo ISD (in partnership with Laredo College), and United ISD (in partnership with Laredo College). In the first year of the grants, the funding will help train 806 students in high demand occupations in HVAC, Healthcare, Dental Assistant, Diesel Engine Specialist, and Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Operators.
