2014 Texas Envirothon Day 1: Optional Training
On Saturday, April 5, training workshops were offered by a variety of professionals at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Armand Bayou Nature Center. Students received training in aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and oral presentation skills during the workshops. The hands-on portion of the training occurred at the Armand Bayou Nature Center, which included fish and invertebrate identification and a walking tour of the nature trails and restored prairie.
