Baylor in Black & White: Fashion Photography of the 1960s
The Texas Collection holds the records of Baylor University Photography. This includes thousands of photographs taken of the University over the years and documenting her rich history. The department has had some amazing photographers including Paul Currier, who took these from 1968-1969. The models (Baylor students) featured were participating in Baylor's "Style Show" and the outdoor shots as a submission to Glamour Magazine featuring "Best Dressed Coed's." Several were published by the publication. The department always used the best equipment such as Leica, Nikon, and Hasselblad cameras and lenses. Currier taught student photographers the latest techniques behind the camera and in the dark room. These photographs were digitized from Baylor Photography's original Kodak Tribune-Herald X Pan Film 35mm negatives.
