Of the event, "The Waco News-Tribune" of April 8, 1950, states: “Gates of the Circle Drive-In will open at 5:30 a.m. and [Easter sunrise] services conducted by Rev. A.C. Lane will begin at 6:08 a.m. Special music will be given by combined choirs of the church [Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, Thirteenth and Webster, Waco, TX]. ”
