Widely recognized as one of Atlanta’s most anticipated art events every year, the 2019 Art Auction + Masquerade Bash will be like nothing the Hambidge Center has done before.
Presented by PNC at The Works Upper Westside ATL, this year's event will celebrate the season through immersive art experiences, one-of-a-kind performances, and amazing installations. The auction features over 200 of the -best emerging and established artists from across the region, and many $100 fixed price Works of Art for budding young collectors.
Be a part of the party and wear a mask! We're offering a free Mask-Making Workshop by Julia Hill on October 12, 4-6pm, at The Works (space is limited, sign up on our FB event page). The workshop is in conjunction with our screening of Andy Warhol’s Empire, in partnership with Film Love and The Works.
PRIVATE PREVIEW PARTY, 6-7PM
Sponsors, Patrons and VIP ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase “$100 Works of Art,” preview the auction artwork, and meet exhibiting artists. They will also have all-evening access to our exclusive Ballard Designs VIP Lounge with complimentary drinks and a special selection of complimentary food from featured Chef Chris Hall of Local Three.
SILENT ART AUCTION, 7-10PM
Find your favorite auction pieces, start your online bidding, and enjoy the interwoven performances, installations and music specially curated for this delightful evening.
BIDDING ONLINE
All bidding will be done on mobile devices through Paddle8, the online auction house. To register, preview & bid on artwork, visit Paddle8 and create an account. The artwork will be available to view when bidding begins on October 12 until it ends on October 26, 10pm.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Stylish attire with masks is encouraged! Bring your fully charged mobile device. Free parking is very limited; rideshare is highly encouraged to our designated drop-off point.
NIBBLES & SIPS
Chefs Duane Kulers of Supremo Guey and Maricela Vega of Chicomecóatl and 8ARM will be offering food for purchase throughout the evening. Cash bar: Beer and wine will be offered along with signature cocktails mixed with fresh King of Pops juices.
DRINK TICKETS will be sold at the event, or buy your package online to avoid the line.
