Whitespace Gallery presents Weathering Time by Nancy Floyd on Friday, November 3, 2017. Floyd’s work concerns the passage of time and loss as well as the aging of the female body. She uses photography and video to address these topics and the ways in which lens-based media are intrinsically connected with experience and memory.

Shot over the course of three decades, more than 2000 photographs will depict Floyd as she navigates through her own life. Experiences of her environment alter over the years, as do her techniques and her elements. Weathering Time is a personal record of her own experience as well as her physical body, her generation all arranged to address these mystifying processes.
