Pneumatic Flipper air diagram - Pegasus

I made this a while ago, but realised I never uploaded it here, so here it is! This schematic diagram explains how the different air components are connected together in my combat robot 'Pegasus' to power the pneumatic flipper.

The amount of power in the flipper depends on the air pressure, and flow rate of air to the pistons. Since the Lego valves are very restrictive in air flow, my system has one valve for each piston, and the valves each have their own independent air feed from the tanks.

Due to the design of the valves, the spare ports need to be blocked off when the flipper is being retracted. Since there are 4 valves, the easiest way to do this is just to connect the spare ports to each other.

The drain valve is used to empty the system, and also acts as a point to connect a pressure gauge if I so wish.
