LEGO GWR Manor Class
The Great Western Railway 'Manor' class was developed as a smaller, lighter 4-6-0 locomotive for improved route availability. Despite bearing a strong resemblance to the more well-known 'Hall' class, the Manor has a smaller boiler and driving wheels, and was actually a development of the 'Grange' class.
The Manor is a loco I've wanted to build for quite a while, and I'm glad to have finally gotten round to it. I've been fortunate to see multiple preserved examples at various heritage railways around the UK. My model particularly represents No. 7802 'Bradley Manor', which is based at the Severn Valley Railway.
