poaching meatballs

i have never made meatballs before. these are ground beef with salt, pepper, one raw egg, breadcrumbs, worcestershire sauce, finely chopped sage and parsley, and some horseradish mustard. poached in a weak beef broth to which i added a bay leaf, green peppercorns, and some cloves.
