I stripped the paint of the outside of the tank using Jasco, and hit stuborn parts with a wire wheel. Here I'm degreasing the tank with POR 15 Marine Clean. This is the first of three steps in the POR 15 process. Step two is the application of Metal Ready, and the last step is the application of POR 15 rust prevention coating. A fouth and optional step is topciating with either a POR 15 topcoat produc tlike BlackCote or SilverCote whch can be applied within 24 hours, or more with a light scuffing, or topciated with your favorite topcoat by using POR15 TieCote Primer. Alternately, you can apply alight dust coat of you favorite primer while the POR 15 coating is still tacky, and topcoat at any time after that with your favorite topcoating.
