Ashland

After staying up late watching (but not following) 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus', we slept in late and had pancakes for breakfast (brunch, really, since it was after 12). We finally left the house at 2 and wandered around town.

Saw a park in full fall colors, goofed around on an outdoor ice rink (before someone told us it wasn't open yet), walked by an old hotel and a new theatre, had hot chocolate at a cafe and spent time reading in a big brick bookstore.

Dinner was a fancy potato + spinach soup Jeff made, and the leftover bread I hadn't yet used.

A great rest day.
