Old Power House

We ran out to Ayres Natural Bridge Park for a looksee as a family. See below for a description of this small but beautiful park. We didn't know what to expect so I told the kids to bring their swim suits. Turns out to be a great place for a picnic and just some time listening to the river and resting under a tree. Me and the boys spent some time skipping rocks...which was time well spent.

Ayres Natural Bridge Park, located near Douglas, WY. At the park entrance, the old power house, a gray concrete building from the early 1900s build by North Platte Irrigation Company to supply power to pump water from North Platte River for irrigation is still preserved. The company went bankrupt before the project was completed. Source -- Wikipedia
