Himalayan Blue Hour

This was the morning for the day to pass Thorung La. The higest point on The Annapurna Circuit. My alarm clock woke me up at 4 a.m, still pitch black sky. I was supposed to leave the camp before dawn and get over the pass early in the morning to avoid a strong wind coming in. To my luck, the few people running the camp and cooked our breakfast, over slept, which gave me just enough time to capture the mighty Annapurnas in the blue hour before leaving. It was freezing cold sitting out side on the rocks in 5000 metres above sea level and I had to eat my chocolate pancake and drink my milk coffee in a hurry. But I got my picture! It was a great himalayan moment.
