Slender the Arrival is developed and published by Blue Isle Studios

 

The ambiance remains peerless among many horror titles.

 

The game is divided into several chapters. The first is a brief introduction of the story. You play as a character named Lauren, in search of her missing friend, Kate. The second chapter revolves around the original concept of the classic trek through the dark woods in search of eight pages. Once that's completed, you are captured by the Slender-man; then you wake up, presumably hours later in daylight. The third chapter is where I had stopped playing for now. Same concept of running around a given map. You're equipped with your flashlight to peruse through what appears to be an abandoned mining facility. Rather than searching for pages, the objective was to search for 6 generators. I'm fairly certain that this is what activates the elevator in order to progress on to the next chapter. In the mining facility, Slender-man is once again present, but there is also a deformed lunatic who is in pursuit of you.

 

I'll get back to it again later, when I'm fully equipped with extra sets of clean underwear.
