These photos are assignments for a course I am taking about learning to use a digital camera.
Each week we are asked to experiment with our camera using the theory we have discussed that week:
- week 1: different options, manual settings
- week 2: getting the exposure right: understanding the link between diaphragm and shutter speed
- week 3: using different aperture settings
- week 4: using different shutter speeds
- week 5: practice day: experimenting in the photo lab
- week 6: the theory of the focal length
- week 7: playing with light and with exposure settings
