Happy 54th Earth Day!

Rhododendron periclymenoides known as pink azalea, pinxter flower, or pinxterbloom azalea is native to eastern US forests. It's also a popular horticultural plant.

 

This was shot in a small urban park in Falls Church, VA, in an area that is being restored with native plants.
