A Mini Adventure
Forgive my little predjudices, but these are real Minis, not the ersatz BMW confections. (The latter are good cars, far better in all probability than any original Mini, but completely devoid of that certain something). Especially noteworthy is the black car in the foreground - it is a 1275GT Clubman. These were the "hot" version of the Mini after British Leyland" dropped the Cooper association, and were in the more square-rigged "Clubman Style". Once relatively unloved, they are now quite saught-after, and getting expensive.
Taken on September 24, 2011, at the Gainsborough Festival of Transport (organised by The Louth & Lincolnshire Motor Club), at the Roses Sports Ground in North Warren Road.
Camera: Nikon F5
Lens: Nikkor 70-300mm zoom
Film: Kodak Ektar
