012/365: las chicas pueden jugar – girls can play

Mi primer contacto con la tecnología fue gracias a los video juegos. Me inicié bastante pequeña cuando comencé con la Intellivision y el Atari (mi favorito fue ET); de ahí brinqué al Nintendo Americano donde pasaba el tiempo matando patos y jugando Zelda.
Cuando el poder adquisitivo mejoró un poco pasé a mi primer Ps; donde me volví realmente adicta a los juegos (gamer). En esta consola mi "fiebre" fué RE, Metal Gear, Silent Hill y Parasite Eve. Hasta que finalmente tuve mi Ps2 y me volví loca con las sagas de mis juegos favoritos, agregando a la lista Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Echo Night: Beyond; NFS; GTA e incluso uno de golf (no me gustan los videojuegos de deportes).
Ahora que soy "adulta", sigo pensando que los videojuegos (controlados o bajo supervisión) son una buena forma de que los chamos no pasen todo su tiempo en la calle inventando cosas que no deben. Obviamente todo en exceso es malo, pero ahora que tengo la posibilidad de "hacer" y no solo "usar"; creo que me motivaré más a seguir trabajando en RenPy y Blender para obtener un juego MIO. (aunque sea solo de 1 minuto :P )

My first touch with technology was thanks to video games. I started when I was really young using Intellivision and Atari (my favorite game... ET); from there, I started using a Nintendo (American version) where I spend time killing ducks and playing Zelda.
When my economic situation got a little better I got my first Playstation; where I became a real games addict (a gamer). On this console, my favorite games where Resident Evil, Metal Gear, Silent Hill and Parasite Eve. Finally I got my Ps2 and I went crazy playing all my favorite games remakes and new versions and adding to the top list Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Echo Night: Beyond, NFS, GTA and even a gold game (I don't like sport video games).
Now that I consider myself a "grown up", I'm still thinking that video games (under control or supervition) are a good way to make young people spend time at home and not doing crazy/bad stuff. Obviously all excesses are wrong, but now that I have the possibility to "do" and not only "use"; I think this will be a great motivation to keep working with RenPy and Blender to make my OWN video game. (even if only is 1 minute long :P )
