Beneath the Southern Cross

Camping up on Mt Hay with my wife and 3y/o. Such a great time and perfect weather which is unusual for us when it comes to holidays! This one is made up of 3 photos stiched together. Taken while my 3y/o is having some books read in the tent before bed time.

I used to go camping with my dad and learnt some astronomy while star gazing for satelites. If you draw a perpendicular line from the mid point between the two pointers and another line through the top and botom of the Southern Cross, at the point the two lines intersect is the southern point where the other stars will generally rotate around. The point is slighty off the the right of this pic I think.
