05JUL14: not for walking

I didn't make this photograph today. In fact, I didn't pick up the camera at all, otherwise occupied officiating a difficult, out-of-town funeral. This ceramic planter was on the steps of an apartment in the community where my mother lives and where we visited last weekend. It seemed a fitting contribution holiday Saturday. I'll be back in the groove tomorrow.
