Updated Color Infusion skin tone reference
For the curious, I took about 50 photos, to get one that worked the best. In terms of lighting, I used three full-spectrum daylight lamps, and repositioned them to try and reduce glare/shadows as best I could. The image was not white balanced or auto-toned--it's raw from the camera. Also, the swatches are a small square of colour from the same area on each body (in this case, the abdomen) which was blown up and blurred, to try and get as accurate a "solid" swatch as possible. However, as all of this is done by hand, it may not be perfect! I had to tweak the saturation on a few of the swatches, to make the colour temperatures more obvious. It is not mean to be an "official" guide, so much as just a tool to aid folks in rebodying, and identifying skin tones.
Also, as each production run of bodies varies due to the pigments being mixed by hand at the factory, there are slight variations between production runs. For example, Japan with grey undertones, versus slightly Japan with warmer undertones. Or the two Hungarians (2017 Graphix, versus the GLOSS "Perfect Pose Studio" dolls from 2013).
This chart only includes the Color Infusion bodies, which have thus far only been produced in the above skin tones. This chart does not include all of the current IT skin tones, such as A-Tone, and Dark A-Tone. It also does not include any of the discontinued colours such as Tan, Miami, Porcelain, Ebony, etc..
