New camera!!!
I *finally* replaces my sad little Canon PowerSHot with a GORGEOUS new Nikon, all thanks to my beloved sibling. So tonight after work I took 10 minutes to test out different settings, and play! I still am not thrilled with the auto white-balance, and I wish it would let me set it according to light (florescent/incandescent/daylight etc.). But so far, REALLY pleased with the quality of the pics! And the part where it auto-focusses on objects in teh foreground and gives a lovely blur to the objects in the bg! Now I just need to learn how to CONTROL the depth of field...
