Commodore James Worcestershire's Duochronocopter

Unfortunately for Commodore James Worcestershire, the steam engine that powered the Duochronocopter failed during its maiden 'voyage'. Fortunately, however, that trip was to a time and place inhabited by creatures called 'Sleestaks'. In order to return home, James had to 'appropriate' some of the Sleestaks' time-travel enabling gemstones. Eventually, James permanently incorporated these gemstones with the original steam technology and other 'permanently borrowed' items from various points in time, including James' favorite, his panoramic-view touch screen control panel.

(I tried to make this sturdy enough for my son to play with while retaining the funky octagon shape and 'flower bloom' opening style body. Yeah, that didn't happen. He did however love that the steam furnace had the light-up brick function.)
