Day 80 | 365 Happy Veteran's Day!
Dug out some of my old Army uniforms for the boys to see today. They were pretty impressed, as they are very into soldier stuff right now. Hard to believe that at this point, I spent almost a third of my life in the military (8 years). I miss it. Yet at the same time, am glad that chapter of my life is closed so I can focus on my family more.
I am also thankful for social networking, which has allowed me to stay in contact with battle buddies from basic training and advanced individual training, now 10 years ago!
So, Happy Veteran's Day, and thank you to those who have served!
