One of my best friends during my compulsory year in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Before her leaving me for good I got to take a few portraits of her on duty. And her discolored beret, once green, but after hours and hours in the sun, rain and snow guarding the gates, it tells a story of 12 months of hard work. It's simply beautiful.
