Evening Ocean Necklace
A very dramatic piece that's been my eyecatching display for about two years now. Someone bought it at a show last week, so I need a new brag-piece.
Interestingly enough, I once got a lecture from a potential customer about it. "This makes me so sad," she said. "Leave that stuff in the ocean." Lady in question was wearing leather shoes ...
Anyway, it's made from a branch of natural white Tahitian coral, wrapped with a few subtle loops of silver-plated copper wire, which forms the centerpiece of a strand of mother-of-pearl sticks, white whole shells and vintage silver-plated rounds.
