Nikki has figured out how to unlock / activate Jess's android phone by sliding the icon over with his beak. He's been watching us slide the unlock icon for over a year now and this was his first time ever alone with a phone for a few seconds. It took him three tries (the icon slider sproings back if you let go too early). After the second attempt he sat up straight and fluffled his feathers in satisfaction - that's when I knew that he had really figured it out. The third try had no tentativeness and was smooth and fast - he just did it. When the screen changed, he leaned down to it and said "Hello?".
