Vulnerable

This is one of my earlier photography pieces, which proved to be a challenge in balancing the conceptual underpinnings of a theme with the composition's technical aspects.

 

The hardest thing for me to learn from this piece was to let the textures and the composition portray the message I wanted to get across. Instead of letting my mind create literal interpretations of "vulnerability in sleep," which sometimes proved to be cliché.
