Thanks so much for the likes, faves & kind comments'.
A slightly longer exposure and twist of the zoom. I like the slightly creepy effect it gave me in the misty woods!!
This was taken one the way from le Col d'Iseran towards Benneval, one of my favourite and most pittoresque downhill of the entire trip. Sweeping, fast curves, that were not very technical, where you could really enjoy the speed, without feeling on edge.
Next to last in my ungulate series. We found this pretty female pronghorn nine years ago on the plains of Wyoming. Wyoming has the highest population of pronghorns...about 400,000. Nearly 3/4 the total of people.

Another one from the car :)))
Just before we hit this tunnel, the weirdest of things happened...
A deer ran straight across the darn freeway!!!
Straight across..through 8 lanes of moving traffic!!
I was amazed at the fact that there was a deer anywhere even close, since we were smack-dab in the middle of the city.
But the fact that it did not get hit, and just hopped away...dang!!!
To be able to run across a freeway and not get hit?!?
Lol....betchya no human could do that :)))
Amongst many firsts on visiting my son ;)))
Live life to its fullest, y'all
Don't sweat the little things ;)
Ya never know when you'd be forced to make a wild dash across a moving freeway :)))
Have a beautiful day
And thank you so very much for your kindness
xxxx
ps: remember the old Mazda ads? :)))
Did you know that mistletoe is a parasite? Yes it is by the way. Mistletoe plants grow on a wide range of trees and shrub, commonly reducing their growth, but can kill them with heavy infestation by using water and mineral nutrients.
For those of you who want to learn more visit this link on Wikipedia and read on.
seen on this day last year from an overpass as we zoomed.
song "Baker Street" - Gerry Rafferty - 1978
In Madagaskar leben vier verschiedene Webervogelarten.
a zoom-zoom shot taken on a rainy afternoon on Oak Street.
I've admired the styling of this apartment building for years, only decent sort of shot I've ever gotten of it :)

the necessities of life are available once more -
tattoos, hair extensions, and toys ... :)
seen from the car yesterday on Kingsway, first trip to town for over a month, picked up some takeout from the Chili Pepper House - and it tasted twice as delicious as before, so nice to eat food I haven't cooked myself :)
some classic Canned Heat :
Biscuit following in Chester's wheel-ruts taking on the driving duties
for the "Being Human" theme
btw: this was a lot harder shoot than it ever was for Chester, took 2 separate photo shoots for Biscuit to be happy to sit in the driver's seat and take the wheel. Biscuit got loads of treats in the end :-)
There is still a lot of smoke lingering at higher altitudes near Chilliwack.

Candy-o is my favourite song by The Cars, an 80s band...
They are an acquired taste.

Night Moon shot gone awry! I must have moved the camera just right. Looks like the moon is giving its "thumbs up".
All I did to this photo was to crop it and nothing else.
Please leave a "hi" if nothing else, just to let me know you were here and to say hi!

after driving to Horseshoe Bay and back, I fell asleep in the car, and awoke suddenly and saw this fabulous cloud through the windshield, picked up my camera, no idea what the settings were, and went click ... and I lucked out,
I ensnared it's pixels for posterity :)
