The dogs are finally allowed free range of the fields after several months of keeping them on the pathway that we cut. From May to the end of August the fields are full of nests and baby critters that the dogs would harm. So for four months out of every year they are limited to the pathway which is still a lot of fun. But you can see Yuki's sheer joy at having free range again for the next eight months.

Yuki is a new member of our family. We're both getting to know each other and figure out what makes the other one tick. It's been a crazy ride so far and loving every minute of it.

Yuki is always up for an adventure. She has her eye on a squirrel.

A day at O'Hare Mill Pioneer Village.

This is an iphone shot. Most often by time I go and get my camera and get the settings all set up the shot is no longer available as usually the dogs will just get up and follow me. Yuki was trying to exert ownership of a newly purchased toy.
