The Green Man on Putney Heath dates from around 1700 and stands on an old duelling spot. The Pub was often refuge for contestants after their duels

The Pub is mentioned in HG Well's 'The War Of The Worlds'........"I spent that night in the inn that stands at the top of Putney Hill......"

Alongside Larkhall Park, just off Wandsworth Road. Since taken over by Punch. (Close-up of pub sign.)

Another lovely old Young's pub. It feels like stepping back in time with all its glass partitions. It's hardly been refurbished in decades and was pretty quiet when I visited despite its size.

One of the oldest pubs around this area, and a beautifully picturesque one at that. It's a Young's house, and they haven't touched it, thankfully. A very nice place. No longer owned by Young's, and reopened in 2021.

Brand new Young's pub in a new residential development in Colindale. It has a large amount of space off to the right of this photo, though the attractive landscaping meant I couldn't get a great photo.
