We never get to see the Ruddy Ducks in their summer plumage, but they are still a wonderful little duck to see!! This guy had his eye on us and slowly paddled away from us without moving his head out from under his wing!! We hope everyone has a great weekend and we will see you on Monday !!

Don't ask how I came up with this...my mind works in mysterious ways!!!! LOL I did use a different treatment for this...I didn't like it in "real life mode" so I zapped it up a bit. (Plus, I have an 8 inch scratch on my foot/ankle that doesn't look very nice in a "real life pic")

At around 15 metres or 5 storeys high, bright yellow and a world traveler Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman’s Rubber Duck was floating around Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour as part of the 2013 Sydney Festival from Saturday 5th January 2013 to Wednesday 23rd January 2013.
Since 2007 from the Loire river in France to Osaka in Japan and São Paulo in Brazil, and now its first time in Australia, Hofman’s yellow Rubber Duck, an oversized replica of the toy has attracted large audiences around the world with Darling Harbour no exception.
Hofman sees the duck as an important reminder that we all have to contribute to looking after the bathtub, meaning of course, the oceans and waterways of the world.
As to its future in Sydney, ask the duck.

Mi amiga Jovanna me regaló este patito, que al final resultó ser patita, luego del trauma de "retratar" a Ruperto, o como se llame, el pato de Santi jajaja.
Muchas gracias, total que la hemos bautizado como "Rita La Patita".
Her name is "Rita La Patita". This is a present from my friend Jovannita.
