To continue discussion on money giving to the belly dancers. I went to several middle estaern clubs with belly dancing in NYC, and never saw men putting money in the dancer's lingerie. Maybe the fear of being sued of sexual harassment. Poor western men, deprived of even small pleasures like this :) Chris have YOU done that?????!!!!!!! Hm....
the YYY's had one of my favorite sets of the day along with probably the biggest and most enthusiastic audiences.
There is magic in a good live show. THIS wasn't even a live show but a public viewing of a soon to be released dvd. A song that I had previously not liked very much, I found it kind of annoying actually...but after seeing the crowd electrified and crazy with love...it's become a favorite.
