I have a fairly large collection of these little wooden dolls - they are called "Lizzie High" dolls. I have had them for years - this is one of my favorites - I like her fur coat and RED scarf - She is sitting on top of my player piano with lots of other collectibles.
(For those of you that see that Bud bottle behind Lizzie - no she didn't have a swig - tee - hee, my son use to work for Budweiser and that is one of the collectible bottles he gave me, by the way, it hasn't been opened.)

Some of you may have read my opinion in a previous posting about shooting with crowds ( www.flickr.com/photos/earl_reinink/49319578432/in/datepos... ). The saga continues with the bird drawing large crowds of photographers, tree-huggers and obnoxious do-gooders.
As a direct response to all the bull-dung, this owl has asserted itself as mayor of this community ( www.flickr.com/photos/crcourson/49428975801/in/dateposted/ ) snubbing its nose at every local authority.
Because of the 300+ cars every day, the town in its wisdom and at the pressure of tree-huggers, has posted no-parking signs which Orville the owl has made quick use of....
The conductor of this Labor Day Builder gives a quick look after reversing the push-button switch in the Commercial Yard.
