For the first time, Admiral Lazarev spoke about the need to build a lighthouse in Yalta. It was with his suggestion that the first projects of the pier and the lighthouse began to be developed. In 1873, the construction of a port in the city of Yalta began. Due to a series of collisions of ships at sea at night, in 1874, the first temporary lighthouse was installed on the site of the ruins of an antique signal tower. It was an iron house with candelabra, the height of the Yalta lighthouse was about 20 feet, the light optics for the lighthouse were brought from Paris. The visibility range of the lighthouse was about 8 nautical miles.
The construction of the permanent Yalta lighthouse began in 1889, and was commissioned only in 1892. The architect of the Yalta lighthouse was Berthier-Delagarde, the height of the Yalta lighthouse was 17 meters. The whole structure is made of reinforced concrete. The lighthouse had a visibility range of about 13 world miles.
In 1944, all the optics of the lighthouse were destroyed by the Nazis, and the building was almost completely looted. In 1946, the lighthouse was completely restored, and already in 1957, the lighthouse was completely re-equipped.

The train is a green Pullman carriage that was armored and weighed 83 tons. Stalin used the train for travel starting in 1941, including trips to the Yalta and Tehran Conferences. Stalin had a phobia about flying so instead he travelled from place to place in the Soviet Union using this train carriage. The train was recovered from the railway yards in Rostov-on-Don in 1985 and is now on display at the Stalin Museum in Gori, Georgia.
