Hace un par de meses se celebro un año de Flickr/Yahoo en Mexico, el grupo Muestra tu Mexico organizo una convocatoria con la finalidad de elegir una fotografia que representara a cada Estado de la Republica Mexicana.

Mt. Adams
Cincinnati, Ohio
A recent snowfall from Cincinnati's Playhouse In The Park.
Formally known as Mt. Ida after a washerwoman named Ida Martin who lived in a sycamore tree on the hill, Mt. Adams was renamed in 1843 after President John Quincy Adams who delivered a dedication address for an observatory which sat where the massive building in the middle right top of the image. The observatory was moved in 1871 to Mt. Lookout and is still in operation today.
I usually don’t post photos of myself back to back, but since my last post was all-so-gloomy, I found it appropriate to post a happier one this time. Haha. Thanks for all your beautiful comments and support my friends. I do hope you all have a great day ahead of you! MWAH!!!!
Firstly, thanks to everyone who had a look at and shared their thoughts on www.flickr.com/photos/flatworldsedge/5182134181/in/photos... - I'm thrilled with the Front Page and really appreciate everyone's contributions.
This is a three minute exposure taken an hour or so earlier yesterday evening. It's a shot of Bury Lake in the Rickmansworth Aquadrome, looking across the kayak water polo court (is it called a court if it is water?) towards the sailing club.
Needless to say, the colour is completely different from the previous shot, which I guess is down to three key reasons. Firstly, this is just before streetlamps came on - the darkness is more from the shaded undergrowth and epic mist. Secondly, it's facing a different direction with fewer light sources - not least it is not looking towards London! Finally, and most importantly, this only had a minor cooling tweak to WB, whereas I lied wholesale to the RAW on the previous shot by telling it was shot in the shade (a lie with massive warming implications, obviously!). Or it could have been a million other things I guess; any ideas let me know!

Trees In The Fog.....
Just before daybreak I woke up to another foggy morning that had descended on Brampton. it was too early for the sunrise and the shutter speed was just barely able to keep up without pushing the ISO into the stratosphere. Shooting hand held has its draw backs. In hindsight I should have brought a tripod. Next time for sure. Lol…l
The park was completely fogged over the streetlights were barely visible through the fog save for a pale eerie grey glow in the distance.
A few leaves which had managed to cling to the branches despite the pervious weeks blustery storms and rain. glowed red in the misty night light

Sur le chemin de St Jacques de Compostel , cette statue immortalise le passage des pèlerins. La route est encore longue pour atteindre le tombeau de l'apôtre saint Jacques le Majeur. Les chemins de Compostelle, qui correspondent à plusieurs itinéraires en Espagne et en France, ont été déclarés en 1987 « Premier itinéraire culturel » par le Conseil de l'Europe. Depuis 2013, les chemins de Compostelle attirent plus de 200 000 pèlerins chaque année.
On the way to St Jacques de Compostel, this statue immortalizes the passage of pilgrims. The road is still long to reach the tomb of the apostle Saint James the Major. The Compostella Routes, which correspond to several routes in Spain and France, were declared in 1987 as the "First Cultural Route" by the Council of Europe. Since 2013, the routes of Compostela attract more than 200 000 pilgrims each year.

Come flash back to the 60's, u can easily visualize with just a hand covering one eye and shadowing with another eye, half with a gray sheet, not shit…Lol! That was exactly the total countable figures of high rise phenomenon stage even a 2 year old kids can count undoubtedly if we turn back time when Singapore set off as an independent red dot undergo grief salvation. Now we simply take thing more than granted, as in physical we do not need to go through our forefather hardship mending those infrastructures process with sweat and tears.
In return, We now struggle with keyboard, sum n deadly figures that competely destroy mentally but less physically.

This beach called Infiernillo was the perfect place to use my tripod :)
Problem is I left the tripod behind when escaping from the earthquake...

The Bund is Shanghai’s waterfront boulevard, most well known for its iconic buildings built before 1949. The promenade is a hive of activity in the morning, full of residents practicing ballroom dancing, kung fu, qigong and Tai’chi. The rest of the day, visitors stroll along, snapping photos of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower on the opposite bank. In the evenings, lovers come out for romantic walks amidst the floodlights accentuating the buildings’ architecture.

Even though I had seen photographs of Sandstone Falls, a 1500 ft. river wide waterfall on the New River, I never really realized the volume, size or beauty of this magnificent natural wonder. Myself and longtime friends Jason Haley, Bryan Janosick drove down to meet up with our good friend and West Virginia waterfall photographer Randy Sanger. Our first day there we visited this area after sunrise and the fog had mostly lifted. Since we were only staying 5 miles away we opted to get up well before sunrise and come back the next day. Joined by new friend and fellow waterfall photographer Todd Williams the five of us were given a beautiful display of nature at it's best. The images I will be posting of Sandstone Falls will not give justice to it's sheer size and awe inspiring beauty.
Jason, Bryan and I also met new friend and West Virginia photographer Sarah Hampton who joined us periodically during the trip.
Yahoo LA has 2 staff hawks to prevent the geese from nesting in the Playa Vista Park. #badass Emma (in photo) is employed about 15 hours a week.
