Formally known as Mt. Ida after a washerwoman named Ida Martin who lived in a sycamore tree on the hill, Mt. Adams was renamed in 1843 after President John Quincy Adams who delivered a dedication address for an observatory which sat where the massive building in the middle right top of the image. The observatory was moved in 1871 to Mt. Lookout and is still in operation today.

Now we simply take thing more than granted, as in physical we do not need to go through our forefather hardship mending those infrastructures process with sweat and tears.
In return, We now struggle with keyboard, sum n deadly figures that competely destroy mentally but less physically.
Italy, Venice, Murano Island, “Cometa di Vetero” Comet Glass Star, created by master glassmaker Simone Cenedese at her art studio on the island which is famous for their glass works since over 700 years.
The sculpture, displayed on the Campo San Stefano near the Murano clock tower & the San Pietro Martire Church, consist of 500 individual blown glass elements in six colours & a diversity of sizes. The light reflecting piece of glass art work is 4,6 meters high & 5,6 meters wide & was displayed first on x-mas 2007.
