Not my usual subject , but my son dropped by yesterday on his 1971 Yamaha XS650 and I couldn't resist it... especially as it wasn't glaring sunlight and I could see what I was doing - well, sort of!
He has 'customised' it to give it a 'Street Scrambler' look. He is a Mechanic by trade and has a few old cars/bikes that he loves to restore and use on the road.

But maybe one day. Meantime I have a new dress from the outlet as Simply Be, it's not often I find a dress with a good length and which seems it'll fit me well, as this one does and on sale. I have recently become only the third owner of this 1978 (although registered 1/1/79) Yamaha XS650SE.
It has just 9800 miles on the clock and is pictured in West Cumbria against a backdrop of the Irish Sea. It began its life with a U.S. serviceman in California. When he was posted to Germany the bike went with him and stayed there until imported to the UK in 2016.
