I stood there watching the clouds wrap around the peaks like something alive — heavy, slow, inevitable. Back home, I shaped this photo to match how it felt in that moment: dramatic, quiet, and a little unsettling. This is more than a landscape to me — it's the weight of solitude, and the strange peace I find in it.

I got this bubble wrap with my latest order from B&H. I love that it looks like an Arabesque pattern.

I hoped to express something about the passed Spring time. The birds coming back, trees turns green and finally flowers surround us. So from February , March, April to May.

Icelanders like to keep things simple - there are only two seasons : winter... and the one where we wait for winter .😆

This weekend marks Fyrsti Vetrardagur, The first day of winter, according to the old Icelandic calendar.

The month that begins now is called Gormánuður , which literally means the month of slaughter - back in the day, that's when people prepared for the long, cold months ahead (and probably filled their freezers before freezers existed ). 🍖

So winter is officially here, and I kinda love it.
