The Valens aqueduct, Istanbul. Finished AD369, constructed by Roman Emperor Valens when Constantinople was the capital of the eastern empire. The almost 1km long aqueduct continued to be used by the Byzantines and Ottomans.
Not sure if that title will make sense to anyone outside of the UK so I should probably attempt to explain it! I used to see it written (with different names) on walls and desks etc in my school days usually accompanied by a simple sketch of the top half of a face. Don't ask me why(!) but it was 'a thing' when I was growing up :-)
I've since found out more from the endlessly reliable source that is Wikipedia - see below if your interested ;-)

a lot of the time this what it amounts to. we can dress it up with any amount of philosophy or waffle about the social anthropological aspects of modern street photography etc but the point is often simply 'i existed at that moment and here's the proof'
