I wanted something different for the theme so I saw this idea to make acorns into necklaces. I haven't made them into necklaces yet, but I got them picture worthy, hehe. :)

EXPLORE Worthy, Challenge 102 - Shades of Autumn (2018 Art)

have a good week all

Nature has endowed the relief of this vast rock formation with incredible colors. In Spanish, the Valle del Arcoiris means "Valley of the Rainbow", a name worthy of this grandiose landscape of red, white, yellow and brown cliffs standing out against the blue sky. This emblematic site of San Pedro de Atacama attracts visitors from all over the world to admire its splendid colors.

Played some with the purple and magenta colors to bring out more details in the Milky Way ... captured there along the coast of Maine at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. The light here on the building there is from the lighthouse itself which I had set up the tripod next to. The orange glow in the sky to the right is most likely from Portland, Maine.

Looking back at this I wish I had used the 17mm lens versus the 24mm ... there would have been less apparent motion in the sky with the wider angle for the 30 second exposure.

It would also be nice to go back here sometime in the future and take this view with the new 14mm f/2.8 lens that I have now (a worthy reason to head back to Maine I think :))

Things are as ever slowly changing..

My illness that is now being treated with double beta blockers is not yet responding well and some of my ordinary PVCs have changed to interpolated PVCs which can eventually lead to Cardiomyopathy with severe and chronic anxiety being the root cause.

I don’t have control over my anxiety and Flickr is just one thing I can leave off at least. I have had some lovely mails asking me to just take a break then come back and believe me they are so heartwarming and mean more than you will ever know.

The place I am at now is to still leave my account open as it is paid up until April 2024. Comments for new photos are turned off and shall remain off as I am too unwell to leave comments as they take me ages to formulate and I get so tired and stressed.

I intend flooding my Flickr account with photos from my two previous Flickr accounts as I get a better idea of whether I myself consider them worthy of uploading to my new online account with a couple of online accounts instead of mixed with thousands of other photos on my PC

I shall hopefully start to fave but not be commenting on photos on Flickr as I not well enough to at the moment but I haven’t given up on getting better although I am unsure how…

I am so thankful that I got to witness the beauty of the Aurora Borealis in its full glory shining brightly over the Northern Minnesota landscape. It is something that I had wanted to see for many years as the last time that I saw it was over 18 years ago. This night was truly a blessing and a truly mesmerizing sight to behold!

The local botanical garden planted 18,000 daffodil bulbs across a large lawn. It is quite a lovely sight in full bloom.
