Workmen fixed one of the diffusion lenses on the roof of the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center. It cracked after being hit by debris during a wind storm earlier in the summer.
These are workmen in Florence taking a break. This is an example of street photography taken surreptitiously. It includes: Lighting - natural light and white balance, Composition - using the three figures balancing the left figure, and this also had photo editing. This had some Photoshop editing to remove a car front end on the right side and to clean up some distracting spots on the street.
Afternoons can be so dramatic in St. Petersburg! The clouds build and darken, the rain comes, and the sun comes out again...The diagonal blur is from the windshield wiper. The workmen will be coming down from the roof of the new construction (see note) very soon - lightning comes in with the clouds.
Getting used to everything being very hi tech in China when these guyed turned up to fix a few cracks.

I saw workmen and security guards sleeping in the shade quite a few times. I don't think this kind of thing would happen in Tokyo.
