Silhouette of a man walking with a cup of coffee, talking on the phone while crossing a bridge a part of an array of bridges connecting two office buildings. The man seemed to be in too much of a hurry to even take a coffee break . #fastpacedlife #worklife

"Straight out of the camera, a blue hour image of the Londons City Hall in the early morning blue hour... the morning twilight gives a modern space-age sheen to the modern buildings in the moonlight..."

Captured during a business trip in the Fuzhou area, this black-and-white image shows workers focused in a small factory workshop
I have been wanting to shoot this image for a while now. I am really glad to have finally shot it. I am hoping to make this the fist of a series.
Big thanks to my friend Jordan for locating the cubicle for me. Also to my friend Dan for struggling it into the woods with me and helping me set it up.
There will be a sort of making-of video for this image later on.
“After coming back to China, I have become an office worker. Most of the time I stay in the office and can only take photos on my way to or from work. During this time I noticed there were all kinds of people doing different kinds of work in this big city, everyone seemed to have own experience and story. So I tried to capture moments which can reflect their true status in work.” People At Work by Teddy Ye (2|4)
London's 'Manhattan' - complete with aurora borealis, alien spaceships and assorted other reflections and artefacts...
Captured in stark monochrome, this image pays tribute to the silent dignity of manual labor. The silhouette of a worker mid-gesture, hand raised in rhythm with the task, reminds us that behind every structure stands a human story built with strength, repetition, and perseverance.

“When I was taking the pictures, people didn’t notice me most of the time, because we are all just focused on what we’re doing. It’s more obvious in big cities like Beijing or Shanghai.” People At Work by Teddy Ye (3|4)
I worked for a decade in my early worklife in a building on the right hand side of this pic. I had a view of the left bank in this picture. Back then, it was an industrial wasteland, chimneys, brick factories and if I recall, a sign for Allens mints dominating the industrial skyline.

Morning Good Vibe Music
Photographed during a business trip in Fuzhou, this black-and-white image captures a welder at work, surrounded by tools, metal frames, and sparks of creation. The dim, industrial light paints a cinematic mood—part craft, part solitude, part quiet dedication.
Beneath the tarpaulins of a Fiji Market, life unfolds quietly yet powerfully. Shoemakers sit in the dim light, their hands working with rhythm and resolve, shaping worn soles back to life. Around them, the pulse of Fiji continues, vendors calling, footsteps echoing, the hum of everyday resilience.
This black and white photograph captures a fleeting street moment, a portrait of dignity, endurance, and craftsmanship.
It belongs to my ongoing Fiji Street Photography series, exploring the poetry of ordinary lives through the lens of bnwstreetphotography, photojournalism, and documentary storytelling.
Here, in the shadows, every face tells a story and every corner breathes history.
A moment of stillness within the motion of streetlife, where humanity, simplicity, and survival meet.

"Rain falls on the rush hour commuters of the City of London in this black and white image. The commuters all look the same with their umbrellas and suits."
