Macro Mondays: Paper Art

My first origami :)

Not perfect, but for me it's ok

I hope you like it

While taking a walk along the beach, this cute pup came up to me to say hello, her owner said she would love to have a new owner everyday! Gotta love her!

It barked at me and ran away before I attempted to take a better shot.

This is one of the coolest snow creations I've seen! The person who made it spent a lot of time on this.

This is a dog that accompanies its owner to the cafeteria everyday that I used to frequent. He is always by his masters side whilst curiously observing passersby on the street.

Ever since the worldwide lockdown the demand of pets have tremendously increased all over. Sadly, as the world is beginning to open up large number of pets are being neglected, as their owners are back to their usual selfish ways without a care for the adopted pets, environment, society and the list goes on.

An embarrassment to the human race. What would they do with the next lockdown just around the corner ?

Poppy is most perplexed that Rio out Quaker parrot has flown down to sit on her dog bed. She used to be similarly obsessed with Peggy one of our ex-battery hens as you can see by this photo, right paw stretched out. It's just in her nature I guess www.flickr.com/photos/juliek1967/11256821753/in/photolist... She likes to sit under his perch & he drops food for her, sometimes her head is covered in crumbs lol.

Rio thinks he's a dog, when our 3 bark he mimics their cacophony. When I feed them their dinner he flies down on the floor & tries to join in. I keep telling him he'll end up as dog food but he doesn't listen to me. I think he's safe enough as they generally give him a wide berth!

This huge German Shepherd dog barked every time we passed by his house but I think he got to know us and was just saying 'Hello, have a nice day'. I am sure if he had been let out he would. have allowed me to pet him and I just love these big German Shepherd dogs.

When the golden fluffster and I booked a sailing adventure, we envisioned something a little more seaworthy than this canoe. I mean, this would be okay for traversing a mud puddle or two or perhaps a swimming pool with no deep end. But I’m pretty sure that’s the sea behind us, and we’re not gonna be getting any closer to that lighthouse because there is no way are we attempting to navigate an ocean in this toy boat.

Let’s just enjoy the view from here and then scamper back to the farm, fluffster! You can chase butterflies when we get home to make up for this, I promise! “Woof, woof to that!” says fluffster. He was never really keen on sailing anyway.

Oh! This romper I’m wearing, it looks like a dress, yes, but no! So it is perfect for both action packed sailing misadventures as well as twirly dance nights and everything in between, and nope, I don’t blog or talk about anything I wear … unless it is something super sassy made by a friend, like this! Miss Q designed it so perfectly, so I’ll leave an MP link in case anyone else wants to twirl about in it too!

Happy Thursday, everyone … sending lots of love 💕❤️

Our Papillon Rigsy having fun at the lake.

Beauty: Ears that resemble the outspread wings of a butterfly, a long flowing coat, and plumed tail all contribute to the Papillon’s elegant grace. Lovers of the breed refer to it as “sensible glamour” because Papillons are relatively easy to groom. In fact the phrase, “I woke up like this” may have been coined with the Papillon in mind.

Brains: Papillons can be trained to do almost anything. They thrive on mental stimulation and work. Far from being just ornamental, the Papillon’s trainability and eagerness to please help him excel in everything from dog sports to tricks to the show ring. Papillons also tend to learn from every experience, whether good or bad, so consistent, positive training is a must. With all that brainpower, there’s no end to what you can teach him.

Versatility: These lively, alert little dogs are good at everything they try. In fact, they’re one of the most popular toy breed in obedience trials. They do well in agility, too, and seem to fly over the obstacle course. They’re also natural retrievers; try one out with a miniature Frisbee and see who gets tired first.
