Wiener Neustädter Stadtwerke und Kommunal Service GmbH (WNSKS): the bus with register plate WN 35 VB (MAN NL 313 CNG Lion's City) working a service in the city line B.
Ce blockhaus situé entre Ver-sur-mer et Asnelles-sur-mer fait partie des points d'appui du mur de l'Atlantique construits par le Troisième Reich pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. Il est repéré par la dénomination Wn35 (de Wiederstandnest qui signifie nid de résistance).
Ce sont des "Osttruppen" (troupes de l'Est, a priori des Ukrainiens) qui tenaient cette position. Le jour J, le 6ème bataillon britannique Green Howards neutralisa cette position.
Les affronts de la mer ont déjà bien mis à mal ce vestige de la seconde guerre mondiale.
La position d'artillerie est détachée de l'ouvrage et repose à une cinquantaine de mètres de celui-ci.
